Facing with such severe epidemic situation, we keep arranging everything as instructed by the Central Epidemic Command Center. For any middle to severe cases of COVID-19, we not only send the case to the hospital for timely diagnosis and treatment, but also plan for three separate areas for mild and asymptomatic confirmed cases, close contacts, and ordinary inmates. We also formulated the "Guidelines for Corrective Agency affiliated to Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice for Isolation and Care of COVID-19 Inmates", and cooperated with the "New Taiwan Model" of epidemic prevention policy starting from March 16, 2022, where each corrective authority is requested for in-situ custody mode to implement anti-epidemic measures to give the epidemic under effective control, maintaining health of inmates and normal operation of agencies.
