Correctional Education CenterAs coronavirus cases slowed down, and the risk for a community spread in Taiwan is low, the Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice (MJAC) will resume the none-contact visitation on every first Sunday of the month from June. Meanwhile, the visitors can bring food to the inmates after the examination. We believe the family visitation can help inmates to maintain their relationship with their family and friends, and most of them would be more available on weekends. Therefore, MJAC will resume such weekend visitation from June.

MJAC makes all decisions regarding the visitation based on the guidelines from the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC). CECC states that the COVID-19 pandemic is under control, and once everyone takes his or her responsibility to follow the guidelines, the restrictions for social activities could be lifted gradually. After careful evaluation, MJAC decides to resume the none-contact visitation on every first Sunday of the month from June. MJAC will continue to evaluate the present regulations for fighting against the pandemic and notice the public if there is a new amendment.
