As for security management in the prison. our principle is “Be kind in living care ; be strict in discipline”. It aims at correcting the offenders’ bad habits and rebuilding their personality. There fore, some measures must be taken. We take deliberate action in checking all the articles, postal parcels, letters, etc, sent to the offenders. Contraband goods are searched as well, regularly or irregularly. Nevertheless, We need advanced technical equipment to help with this task although tight security is in force.

There is no doubt that manpower is needed to do the job. Thus, we arrange educational training courses to enrich personnel's professional knowledge on laws, regulations, counseling and guidance, arrest technique, use of firearms, communication and riot control. We also hold drills for coping with emergency such as guarding against violence, escape, typhoon, natural calamities earthquake. Acute medical treatment and first aids are certainly included.
